1. Brief and quote
You send what you have: logo files, photos of the brand in use, and what bothers you about it. We ask about anything unclear, then send a written quote with the scope, the number of review rounds and a delivery date. Nothing starts until you accept it.
2. Directions
We send two or three directions. For a color system, each direction is a palette with its ladder, ratio strip and a mockup on one or two of your real items, such as your sign and a social post. For a logo refresh, each direction shows the redrawn logo at large and small sizes. You pick one to develop, or combine parts of two.
3. Refinement
We develop the chosen direction and send it for markups. Typical markups are a slightly warmer brand color, a heavier weight on the name, or a different accent for the website buttons. If color matching matters for print or paint, this is when we send printed proofs.
4. Final files and guide
We deliver the final files, the color values for every medium, and the guide if you ordered one. Extra review rounds beyond the quote are priced before we do them.
Files and formats
| We accept | We deliver |
|---|---|
| Any logo file (AI, EPS, SVG, PDF, PNG, JPEG), photos of signs, vehicles and packaging, screenshots of your website | Vector logos (SVG, EPS, PDF), PNG sets, color values for screen, print and paint, guide as PDF plus source files |
Working with your vendors
We can send files straight to your printer, sign shop or web person, and answer their questions about color values. That avoids the common problem where a vendor eyeballs a color from a PDF.
Your files
Your files stay private and are used only for your project. If part of the work goes to a production partner, they work under a confidentiality agreement. See the privacy policy.
